Sapporo Molecular Layered Carbon | Display Screens

Most mobile devices in use today use indium electrodes within their OLED (organic light emitting diode) displays. These displays are used in mobile devices due to their low power consumption. Replacing indium with a graphene based electrode will not only significantly reduce costs, but can also lead to highly flexible, practically indestructible and see through displays.

Cheap, flexible and slightly larger format screens may emerge sooner than those on mobile devices, with the idea of “e-paper” gaining significant attention.
